All living cells required oxygen to stay alive. Red blood cell does not contain nucleus so that it can store more hemoglobin. Red blood cell has a biconcave shape to increase surface area to volume ratio for faster oxygen exchange while root hair cell has a long and narrow root hair to increase surface area to volume ratio for faster water absorption.
